Individual psychotherapy, including EMDR.
Adjunctive EMDR— Sometimes a therapist feels a client would benefit from EMDR treatment but he/she is not trained in it. If that is what brings you to call me, I work with you to collaborate with your primary therapist and coordinate time-limited EMDR treatment.
Adjunctive couples therapy— Occasionally when a person is in treatment with me already, especially when the issue is some form of trauma, she/he is also having some difficulty in her/his relationship. Couples work in this context can often help clarify where the triggers are in the relationship, educate the partner about the influence of trauma on the relationship and help both to learn better strategies for communication.
Counseling for Professional Dancers and other performing artists in transition— When you as a professional dancer or performing artist are contemplating a career transition, I understand from my own experience that more is at stake than just a job change. It often involves a major change in identity and lifestyle and a time for grieving the losses involved in this shift. It also can be an exciting time of new possibilities and pathways, and my aim is to support you through this process.
